Death, Pain, War, Blame. A poem

Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedI am Tired of waking up
To once in a lifetime events
Twice a day

Tired of watching kids die
Tired Of
Pain
Pain
Pain
Building up to
War
War
War
How Many kids have to die.
How many more times?
Must we wake up to pain.
Some new tragedy
This time at a school
Or maybe a church

Wake up to a new war
In a country the president cant even locate
And yet, he wants to eradicate

All I know is a world of pain
A world of hate
A world of War
A world of blame
A world crumbling from
Death
Hate
War
Pain
Blame
This is all we have ever known
We live our lives under this shadow
We cannot feel safe.
Not when a gun could end it all and no one would care.
Not allowed to Live
Not allowed to learn
Bullets dont cure
And the fix is right here.
But instead,
You lie
lie
lie
And then we die
die
die
