I Pledge Allegiance, A poem

Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedI pledge allegiance.
To the flag.
Of the United States of America.
And to the republic, for which it stands,
One nation,
Under god,
Indivisible,
with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

I pledge allegiance to a fallen nation,
to an angel with nothing but hesitation,
to a song with no melody,
a book with no meaning.

I pledge allegiance to an empty shell of what was
I pledge allegiance to killing my brothers and sisters
to taking my uncle away from his kids
I pledge allegiance to death
I pledge allegiance to a false god of pedophilic lies and suffering.

I pledge
my allegiance
to the flag stained with my blood
I pledge my allegiance to the oil that pours out of it
I pledge allegiance to liberty removed
and justice burned
I pledge
allegiance to nothing
because my allegiance lies with not a nation
My allegiance lies with the idea of it
and that idea
is dead.
